Moltis is a self‑hosted personal AI agent server built in Rust that runs as a single binary on your own hardware. It provides a sandboxed environment where the AI can operate without accessing your filesystem unless you allow it, keeping keys and private data local. After a quick three‑step setup you can connect a provider key, choose a model, and access the agent via a web UI or any of the many built‑in channels such as Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, Slack, Matrix, Nostr, Teams, voice, and more. The server supports recurring natural‑language cron jobs, sandboxed shells in Docker or Apple Containers, calendar management with CalDAV, persistent memory with hybrid vector and full‑text search, and runtime skill creation. It integrates over 20 LLM providers, including local models, and offers HTTPS, passkey authentication, encryption‑at‑rest for secrets, and a full GraphQL API for custom integrations. Moltis can be installed on a Mac Mini, Raspberry Pi, or any server via a single binary, container image, or package manager, and includes optional cloud deployment for testing.
