EU & GDPR AI Tools: Provider Statements with Sources
What AI providers state on their own websites about the GDPR and about hosting data in the EU: the provider's sentence, the page it comes from and the date our automatic check read it. These are statements by the providers, not checks or certifications by GateOnAI.
1,453 tools whose provider pages refer to the GDPR · 159 providers state EU hosting (165 listings) · 3,164 AI tools listed · last automatic check: 2 Nov 2026 (about monthly). Download all statements as CSV.
How to read these labels
- GDPR referred to (provider statement): a page on the provider's own website, usually the privacy policy, refers to the GDPR. GateOnAI does not audit, verify or certify compliance. Before sharing personal data, ask the provider for a data processing agreement (GDPR Art. 28).
- EU hosting stated (provider statement): the provider states that data is, or can be, hosted in the European Union, sometimes only on some plans. It is about where data is stored, not where the company is based. GateOnAI does not check data transfers, sub-processors or which laws apply.
No label does not mean “not compliant”. It means our automatic check found no such statement on the pages it read. A provider can also refer to the GDPR while processing data outside the EU: the two labels are different things.

Are you the provider?
If your statement has changed, or a label or excerpt is wrong, write to [email protected] with the page that should be used. We review every request and correct or remove an entry when the provider's own pages confirm it. Labels are never added, removed or changed for payment. We aim to reply within 5 working days.
Important: please read
What this is. GateOnAI records what each provider publishes on its own website about the GDPR and about where data is hosted, with the provider's sentence, the page it comes from and the date our automatic check read it. The pages are checked again automatically about once a month.
What this is not. GateOnAI does not audit, test, verify or certify any tool. None of the labels on this page means that a tool complies with the GDPR or any other law. The sentences are the providers' own statements; we cannot confirm that they are true, complete or still current.
No label. A tool without a label is not “non-compliant”. It only means that our check found no such statement on the pages it read.
Things change. Providers can change their pages, infrastructure, sub-processors or terms at any time. Always read the provider's current documents and ask for a data processing agreement before you share personal data.
No advice. This page is general information, not legal, compliance or regulatory advice. For decisions about your organisation, ask a qualified lawyer or your data protection officer. To the extent permitted by law, GateOnAI is not liable for decisions made on the basis of this page; the GateOnAI Terms and Disclaimer apply.
How we read the pages. Since 2 November 2026 our automatic check reads only publicly available pages of the provider's own website, identifies itself as GateOnAI-compliance-check with a contact address, and follows each site's robots.txt. Each statement is shown as a short excerpt of at most 30 words, with a link to the full page, only to show what the provider states; the text belongs to the provider.
Independence. The labels come only from the automatic check. Affiliate links and paid Featured placements never add, remove or change a label. Trademarks belong to their owners and are used only to identify the tools.
Reuse. This list and its CSV download are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0) licence: you may reuse them, also commercially, if you credit GateOnAI and link to this page. The licence covers GateOnAI's own data (labels, links, categories and check dates). It does not cover the quoted provider sentences: they remain the providers' own words and are shown here only as short quotations.
